  • What types of care does Tender Lasting Care Services Ltd. provide?
    TLCS provides bespoke support to individuals from the age of 4 years all the way up to end of life. Our services consist of but are not exhaustive of; personal care including washing, bathing, personal grooming, continence management and catheter care, assistance with feeding and enteral (PEG) feeding and assistance with medication. Respite care which supports parents/guardians/carers get a much-needed rest break and the peace of mind that their loved one is being cared for by an experienced, DBS checked support worker. Daily living support which can include light housekeeping, washing and ironing, food preparation and shopping or a travel companion. If your requirements are not listed, please do get in touch and we will try our very best to accommodate your care needs.
  • Can you provide services through different funding pathways?
    Yes! We are able to accommodate the following; direct payments, personal health budgets and self-funding.
  • What areas of Staffordshire do you cover?
    We cover all parts of Staffordshire and surrounding areas! These can include; Stafford, Penkridge, Haughton, Burntwood and Burton On Trent just to name a few. If your location isn’t listed please still get in touch and we will try our very best to accommodate.
  • Is TLCS Ltd registered with a statutory regulator?
    Yes! All of TLCS services are regulated and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and we our currently rated ‘Good’ however we are determined to work towards an ‘Outstanding’ rating.
  • How do I arrange a care service with TLCS?

  • I don't have any previous care experience but I'm interested in pursuing a career in heath and social care. Can I still apply with a job with yourselves?
    Yes of course! As a company we really promote this, we have a fair recruitment policy and feel very strongly about giving the same opportunities to everyone, whatever experience they may have within health and social care or work-related background they are from.   • Do you offer visa sponsorships?
    Unfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorships at this current moment in time.
  • What do I do if the office is closed? Who do I contact?
    All of our management team are available between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. In the event a staff member needs to speak with a member of management out of these hours we have a specific point of contact (POC) mobile phone that they are able to ring if for example there is an emergency or if they are reporting sickness and unable to go on shift. The POC phone number is a private number which is shared with staff at induction stage and only used for emergencies.
  • Do you offer any additional training or progression within the company?
    We offer a range of NVQ’s in Health and Social Care (Level 3 and Level 5), apprenticeships, and additional training in bespoke areas such as PEG, pump feed etc, that staff are encouraged to get involved with. We are currently in the process of implementing our very own bespoke TLCS training team who will look at covering a number of mandatory trainings, which will be delivered in-house and face-to-face to our staff here at our offices. We really like to promote to staff long-gevity of service and progression from support worker up to management level if they are interested in doing so and will always support each and every one of our staff on their individual professional journeys with us.
